Pretty Average strives to bring a fresh musical perspective to Berlin, that of a frontwoman who sets out to make a difference with her songwriting. She sings her songs in a gender-indistinct manner, backed by the distortion and the raw sound that Sergi has been developing since relocating to Berlin himself.
Candy’s songwriting began to flourish once she moved to Berlin in 2019, where the city’s distinct scene identity inspired her to write lyrics that juxtapose melancholic moments with witty and even joyful anecdotes, treating familiar feelings of loneliness with sharp irony.

Pretty Average is a band that intends to develop musically to achieve a step forward in the arts and to help establish a musical counter-culture that resists today’s nihilism. A value that has been part of the band's identity since its beginning on late 2021.
With the band’s last release, they were featured in magazines such as Post-Punk, Metal Magazine, KEYI Magazine and more local and international publications. Pretty Average also hosted a radio show on Refuge Worldwide, during which they presented selections of their upcoming EP. Tracks from the EP have entered into rotation at radio stations such as ALEX Berlin, Pirate Radio and Shellshocked Radio.
